I am so excited to announce the addition of Carol Mitchell, LVN, to our Wildflower Pediatrics Team. Carol has over 25 years of experience working for a solo pediatrician as a licensed vocational nurse, billing specialist, and office manager. She will be a wonderful addition in all aspects of the practice. She was known as the “best” shot giver in her previous employment. She is originally from the Texas Panhandle and has lived in Leander for 5 years. She is married to Ed Mitchell and has 2 daughters, 1 son, 2 son-in-laws, 1 daughter-in-law and 7 grandchildren.
Pediatrics has been her passion since graduation. In Carol’s own words,
“There is almost always a happy experience in this field. Kids get sick but almost always get well! Getting to know the family is one of the best parts of the job. Family is what I do in my spare time. Whether it is visiting my son and family in the panhandle or going to one of my 6 grandkids activities that live in the area. I enjoy family meals and outings together. I do enjoy gardening also. I love flowers and a pretty yard!”
