The vaccine, Fluzone, protects against 4 different strains of the flu (type A&B) that are
expected to be prevalent this fall and winter season.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all children 6 months and older
receive the flu vaccine. Fluzone Quadrivalent vaccine is approved for use in persons 6
months of age and older. We will provide flu vaccines for parents as our supply allows. In
addition, we WILL submit PARENT flu vaccines to the appropriate insurance. We have self
pay rates available as well ($35.00).

https://15935.portal.athenahealth.com/ to make an appointment to receive the flu vaccine.
Please remember these appointments are for vaccine administration only to ensure short
wait times for other patients. If you have any concerns about your child, our providers would
be happy to see him or her at a regularly scheduled appointment. If you are already
scheduled for a visit with a provider we would be happy to offer the flu vaccine at that time
for your child, yourself, or any siblings present. If desired, you or your child can receive a
COVID-19 vaccine along with a flu vaccine.
